CO-BEAT!  [NEW REPORT!] Watch how SMU’s very own Hip-Hop dance club, SMU Eurhythmix, takes a satirical look at the human behaviour observed with the onset of COVID-19.

CO-BEAT!  Like many cities in the world, Singapore saw a phase of panic-buying earlier this year prior to our semi-lockdown, with essentials such as toilet paper flying off the shelves!  We look back on this craziness with humour, and salute our supermarket employees:  Thank you for your hard work!  

CO-BEAT!  Travel plans are disrupted for many in this pandemic. Families face months of separation. How does a mother who is stranded in another city cope? She has to make a choice – to remain where she is, or to bite the bullet and go through the 14-days Quarantine Order if she wants to be back with her family.

CO-BEAT!  With the onset of COVID-19, students scuttled behind digital screens.  Online lectures, virtual presentations and Zoom discussions are the new norm. As with all changes, some thrive while others struggle to survive. Which group do you belong to?

CO-BEAT!  “You know I love you, but I can’t touch you.”

In times of social distancing, the human touch has never been more dearly missed.  We can only ‘kiss it goodbye’ and embrace the new normal that lies ahead.

CO-BEAT!  “Wet, Soap, Scrub, Rinse, Dry”. Health officials have been emphasising on the importance of hand-washing to prevent the spread of viruses such as COVID-19. So, have you washed your hands for 20 seconds?

CO-BEAT!  Most Singaporeans have displayed civic-mindedness and abided by the new restrictions and guidelines as advised by authorities during this pandemic. However, there are some who just refuse to follow suit. We can’t help but wonder, “Why they so like that ah?”

CO-BEAT!  For a nation of bubble-tea lovers, the closure of bubble-tea shops island-wide during Circuit Breaker has caused many to develop withdrawal symptoms. Some have reported strange hallucinations…
