GAME PLAY invites you to experience the ultimate immersive adventure with Dungeons & Distractions by Jo Tan and Edward Choy! Inspired by the collaborative mayhem of Dungeons & Dragons with fight choreography and live theatre, Dungeons & Distractions puts you at the heart of the action, using actors and stunt performers as avatars to confront monsters, uncover mysteries, and turn dreamers into heroes.

Creative Producers
Edward Choy
Edward is an actor, host, voice artist, and corporate trainer. He's lectured part-time at NUS in performance and acting theory since receiving his MA in Theatre from NUS (his Honours thesis researched role-playing games), had a brief career as a banker after graduating, and is now a keen financial literacy advocate. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since 1990, and his favourite 5th Edition build is the multiclass Sorlock.
Jo Tan
Jo is an award-winning actor and playwright. Known for playing multiple characters in her productions and switching between numerous accents and physicalities at speed, she is also part of iconic local trio the Dim Sum Dollies. As a writer, she also wrote the first D&D play in Singapore — Session Zero, which received two sold-out runs by Checkpoint Theatre and stellar reviews by the Straits Times. Jo's work has travelled to cities like Cannes, London, Beijing, New York, and most recently, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where she took her very first full-length play, Forked. She loves Dungeons and Dragons and co-created Dungeons and Distractions with Edward to constantly find new ways to introduce the game to the public.
Terrance Tan
Terrance is film and theatre writer and director, and the co-founder of Bitesize Theatre Collective. Directing credits include The Monster in the Mirror (Gateway Arts), Fatimah and Her Magic Socks (Esplanade), Pink Fong Baby Shark, The Little Company’s Classic Stories from Around the World and Classic Christmas Stories (Singapore Theatre Company). He is also an alumni of the Directing Residency Programme at Singapore Theatre Company, where he was an associate director for Playmakers and Miss Julie. As a filmmaker, he's directed for Mediacorp Star Awards opening musical MV, as well as edited colored marketing trailers and collaterals for Netflix and Amazon.
